Graphic Design Major
While following the Nevada Career and Technical Education's Program of Study for certification, Las Vegas Academy's Graphic Design major is unique to any other Nevada school.
No other graphics program allows students to take advanced elective courses in digital imagery for three years, including the Advanced Placement 2D Portfolio for dual credit and college entry, but also a graphic arts internship at an in-house printshop. Working for other departments within the school, students design and produce large advertisments with a 60" printer and laminator, custom design 3D prints, engrave awards, screenprint tshirts, and dye sublimate mugs. ACA certifications are made avaialbe to students who wish to pass the test for Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

InHouse Design & Print
Las Vegas Academy of the Arts is the only Graphic Design major in Southern Nevada that has its very own printshop, including vinyl printing, cutting, silkescreen, 3D printing, dye sublimation, large format printing, laminating, and more.
When students design and create the final product, their understanding of production methods, file preparation, and client relations are strengthened.
