Visual Art Clubs

Las Vegas Academy of the Arts, Visual Arts Conservatory has various clubs open to students of ALL majors.  The Visual Art clubs are involved with the Las Vegas Art community and various organizations through volunteering. In addition, the clubs participate in competitions which showcase the artistic talents of their members.

National Art Honor Society

N.A.H.S – the National Art Education Association (NAEA) established The National Art Honor Society in 1978.  The purpose of the National Art Honor Society is to recognize sophomore, junior and senior students who excel in the arts as well as scholarship, character and service.  Members are required to complete 40 hours of community service per membership year.  In addition to service, members must maintain a B average in art classes and maintain a minimum of a C average in all other courses.

Mud Monkeys (Ceramics Club)

The Mud Monkeys have created items for the Annual Gala and other fundraising events.

Photo Club

The Photo Club conducts various fundraisers on campus every year, including the Photo Booth at events such as the Fall Festival and Sadies Dance. Our members gain real life experience by taking family portraits during the holiday season and "head shots" for professional portfolios.
